Welcome to our Phaseslam Melee build guide for Amara the Siren in Borderlands 3. This unique build focuses on dashing between enemies with powerful melee attacks. It excels at quickly moving between, and finishing off, groups of smaller enemies.

I found a class mod with + 36% Grenade Damage is this for Grenades only? Not Splash Damage. As there are loads of those. Bosses are treated as Humans, Beasts, and Robots with this Class Mod equipped. Benefiting Skills: ‍Interplanetary Stalker, Hunter's Eye Every weapon damage hit has 3% Chance to activate all Hunt Kill Skills (with at least 1 point). Hunt Kill Skills: ‍Psycho Head On A Stick, Interplanetary Stalker, Second Intention, The Most Dangerous Game Note: The Most Dangerous Game can only be activated.

It is very easy to gear, due to mostly relying on skill trees.
The build works great for leveling.
High levels of Health and Health Regeneration make the build very forgiving.
The build is mostly unaffected by Mayhem mode modifiers.

The build is not fully effective against bosses.
It can be difficult to deal with flying enemies while playing this build.
It lacks the extreme damage scaling of some weapon-based builds.

In Borderlands 3 Quest Reward Items are rewarded after or during a quest. After the quest is completed there are 2 ways to farm Base Game items:

Eridian Fabricator
On the Legendary firing mode, the Eridian Fabricator occasionally drops quest reward items from Base Game.
Crazy Earl's Veteran Rewards machine in Sanctuary has one Quest Reward Item from the Base game as the Item of the day.

DLC quest items can't be farmed by these methods.

Quest Reward Items in Borderlands 2 can be farmed on PC by Read-Only farming.

How to Read-Only farm:

Go to the location where you hand in the quest.
Save the game by toggling your Badass Rank on/off.
Then go into the file explorer on your computer. Go to the file path:
C:UsersNAMEDocumentsMy GamesBorderlands 2WillowGameSaveData
Go to your most recent Save File (.sav) and:
right-click → properties
Under General tick the Read-only box.
Back in-game and hand in the quest.
Exit to the main menu, then back into the game.
Now you will be able to hand in the quest again.

Tip:
Store the items in Claptrap's Secret Stash.
This way you can get the quest reward items multiple times since they are saved on a different SaveFile.

Quest Items are items that are only used during a quest. They adapt to your level.
After the quest is completed the item is removed from your inventory.
If you want to keep the item you can't finish the quest.
